Finance can seem complicated or even boring to a lot of people, but it really does affect our lives every single day. That's why I want to make these topics simpler and help more people build a healthy financial life, and maybe a happier one, or at least a less stressful one.

The Buy Smart, Pay Less calculators were developed from concepts used in consumer comparisons and financial analysis, such as unit pricing, cost per use, break-even analysis, total cost of ownership, and opportunity cost. These concepts were adapted to everyday situations, with transparent formulas and examples that let you check the results. See our methodology and references.
Personally, I'm passionate about personal finance and investing. I enjoy helping people organize their finances and create systems tailored to their realities, preferences and ways of visualizing money. I'm also developing a new personal budgeting tool based on cash flow, which will be announced once testing is complete.
